After breakfast, we’ll hike through the forest to visit a mammal clay lick, a place where tapirs, peccaries, deer, agoutis, and monkeys gather to consume mineral-rich clay that balances their diet. Wildlife sightings depend on nature’s rhythms, but the journey itself is filled with captivating scenery and sounds of the deep jungle.
